Our Supporting Platoon
Jit (pictured on the left) has been running the Ledyard Village Market since 1990. A staple of the Ledyard community, he has dedicated over 35 years to business while actively supporting local sports and athletes.
George (pictured on the right) has been coaching in the Southern New England Football Conference for many years. His experience includes three years as a Micro’s coach and eight years as a Seniors coach, earning Super Bowl titles in 2010 and 2013 as an assistant head coach.
Both Jit and George proudly support the Ledyard Youth Football League because they believe youth football and cheer serve as the foundation for developing our youth—both athletically and academically.
Groton Utilities is more than happy to help support the Ledyard Youth Football program. As a publicly owned utility part of our mission is to give back to the community that we service. We have been proud to supply the residents of Ledyard with high quality H20 for years and now have the opportunity to help support the youth of the area through the Ledyard Youth Football program.
